Friends of Rowan Creek is a non-profit organization located in Poynette Wisconsin that strives to restore, enhance, protect, and promote the unique characteristics of Rowan Creek and its watershed.
The Rowan Creek watershed drains portions of five Columbia County townships (Arlington, Dekorra, Lowville, Lodi and Leeds), with the village of Poynette lying squarely in the middle. Rowan Creek originates just upstream of Loveland Road (east of Highway 51).
April 21, 2012 Rowan Creek Clean Up Day
Join the Friends of Rowan Creek and the Poynette High School Conservation Club on Saturday, April 21, 2012 (April 28 rain date) for the annual Rowan Creek clean up that coincides with Earth Day. Meet at Pauquette Park on Main Street in Poynette. It's next to the Village Hall.
The clean up goes from 9am to noon. Lunch is provided at noon. Wear clothing that can get dirty. Garbage bags provided.
